The His Kids course is suitable for owners of day care centers, who want to improve their skills in managing a well-run program in the home and take an additional step in their professional development. The information in His Kids is also relevant for the day care worker who is employed by a church day care center, or a larger facility. The student must complete the questions at the end of each unit, and pass with a score of 70% or better to receive the Certificate of Completion.
Most state licensing rules require a minimum number of clock hours of training per year for child care center workers and directors. You can verify each states' child care licensure and training regulations by referring to the National Resource Center for Health and Safety in Child Care and Early Education.
The following states will accept the His Kids coursse for clock hours, or pre-approval of the training course used is not required at this time by that state.
